All gas money spent on planes?

That plane will be riding in a 60,000 truck. It better fit or I'm cutting it in half and adding hinges. !!!! Lol!
I'd say that will do it...LOL You could haul full-scale with that! You got a bed cover? If so, I'd make a frame of some sort to haul it in the bed.

You know I thought of that but was thinking it might be buffeted to bad by the wind in transport... kinda risky to just try to see....

experience with that anyone?

Hence the bedcover. I've ridden under the cover in my o lady's truck, and it does an excellent job blocking wind. I'm sure quality would vary from brand to brand, but I don't see it making any difference..

Another bonus to that, you could then have the option of going >100"!!!

My son and I have transported planes in the back of his truck by putting a blanket over them, then putting a "spider-web" net over that...with no problems...

Landings are not optional

If you are not getting on the freeway or going over 50 on the way to the field, I imagine it would be just fine. I know a couple fliers that transport 100CC 3d planes to my field strapped to the top of small cars or suvs. The 150CC bipe even travels wings on Looks pretty amazing, always gets comments about the car (some small hatchback) taking off!

Trying to decide if I want to buy an orange 51" Slick... I have the 41" Edge, and the 48" Edge, then it jumps to the 55" Edge, and then the 57" Extra, and 59" Slick...don't know if I really need another plane in this size range....but I "do" have all the "bits and pieces" for it...and...though I didn't "have" to ask, my wife said ok, when I mentioned it to her....of course I didn't tell her I had just ordered one of the new Great Planes "Gee Bees" (I have always wanted a Gee Bee).. Decisions, Decisions, Decisions....
