I stand corrected; guess KY is interested in selling diving subs in China. As mentioned before, that was to be the original plan but am surprised they did not try to develop their own lower cost system.

Regarding the other models, am not sure since was I advised of this project when it was initiated by Graupner back in 2009 & have not followed since. Their owner told me they were going to do three subs so I presume that's still the case & would agree that a Type IX would be nice to see.

So which version is being sold Stateside? The USA Guapner website doesn't say which model it is?

China would be the last place I'd sent a dime to. Too many horror stories about people waiting years for stuff they paid for. By the way, it's almost August. Did you get your boat yet?

Graupner VII - Dynamic Dive?

Has anyone actually sailed this ARTR Type VII and determined whether it will dynamically dive (as the Graupner advertising suggests it can)? Or is is simply a surface runner which their pdf instruction brochure claims.

If it dynamically dives then I would be interested. If it is only a surface runner - Target, then i'll save my pennies for a more exotic Type VII kit

Better snap them up... might be a collectors item given Graupner's current financial straits.
