d40 servos and KST servos

First point, looking for new servos for my d40. not sure if the link will work correctly but this is what I am looking at, and interested in other options.
an 8mm is too big, but what most people are using.

The second point, what are peoples opinion of the kst servos (MKS6126 competition) ?
Anyone had them round the back yet?

You bought a new D40 Will, or is this for your old repaired one?

Have you got enough space to fit Fu Fix external bearing?

I've got them on HS-5085 and they eliminated the slop on an F3x flaps.

Not too worried about them

Seems not to many people commenting here.

I have the KST's and like them. I dropping them into my Genesis right now. The servos are nice and fast, accurate and good tight gearing.

Not a very good picture:

Available in the US from:

Aloft also has the high-speed servo, but it is a bit wider. I'm using this one on my elevator and ailerons.. It's a sport plane.

Not all customers are satisfied.
KST servo (1 min 57 sec)

Please feed back if you are having problems, or if this is an isolated incident.

Not saying your servo is good or bad....but had a similar problem that was traced to a Y connector. Changed out the Y and problem solved. Carefully took the Y apart and could find nothing wrong?

That's really interesting.

Maybe with the High resolution there servos need really clean signal wires.

You cannot solder a network cable, well you can but the internal resistance of the solder will stop it working. maybe we are getting closer to that limit.

thing is this servos was working, and then it stopped.
He lost 2 servos in the same model.

What concerns me the most is that if they start going 360 they could make a mess of your wing with such high torque.

Hey will. I dont know if they are the same servo but Id say they are, the turnigy mks copies. I have these in one of my planes and when I set them up I had a similar issue when I was running the battery through a switch. When I took the switch out of the circuit the problem went away. My theory was the switch had too much resistance and was dropping the voltage or something. Anyway, without the switch the servos have been fine so far.

That was a very interesting servo dance. Got to love seeing a servo go in a circle like that.. Yikes!

I have not had any issues with mine so far, and I have soldered all connections except for the crimps on the servo leads, and the gold plated MPX wing connectors. I'm using a semi cheap switch..

Hey will.

Ezza just got some of these. Looking forward using them in a new warhead 30.
I just used same MKS 6100 in mine , very small amount of slop , but very tough. Took plenty of punishment on the Mai Ed flight and a 100mph DS crash.
