These threads have been good to get information about 3DHS planes! I've seen a number of posts talking about quick shipping so I thought I'd share my shipping experience too!

I ordered a 71 motor box kit on 29 May and I was glad they were in stock. Current UPS tracking shows I'll receive it on 13 Jun. I am anxious to get my 71 back in the air after the engine died at a real inconvenient time!

Things that like to pretend they are airplanes but aren't: wing bags, canopies, foamies...

I m going crazy without my planes. Sold my 7C and ordered my 8FG plus a 6014 receiver. I am crossing my fingers that it comes in tomorrow. The receiver next week. I will bind my foamy receiver and install the 6208 in my 42" Slick at least.

Well I can now join all of you that killed your 65mg's. Mine froze up at about halfway down after I came out of a hard tumble. At first I had no idea what was happening. But then I figured out and brought it down in a sorta inverted harrier into the dirt. The canopy took most of the hit. It was crunched but it easily popped back up. It broke at a few places but I glued it back together. Other than that I broke a few pieces of wood on the right size of the fuse. All easily repaired. I got lucky.

All servos are prone to failure, it's just that there are more hi-tec in service out there and that makes it appear that they have a higher failure rate. The other thing is CS, if my servos show any signs of jitter or start to not center properly, I pull them and send them to hi-tec and they fix or replace and send them back to me for free. I've had one crash because of a bad servo, but I have had 5 now repair/replaced that I felt were starting to go
