When i hover, it seems like I cant hold enough right aileron, the plane feels super sluggish, and eventually will tip over to one side no matter what elevator/rudder inputs i give.it's really hard to describe. do i need to add more power?

Check out the clinic videos on hovering. My best tip is to learn it from an upright harrier. Start transitioning it into a higher and higher alpha angle. Eventually you'll be in the hovering attitude.

Also a slight wind does make it easier since you won't have to contend with trying to counter your torque as much.

APC 14.7 is a bit much for the hacker 16M

Considering we had 80 deg in Feburary. And 40 deg here all last week (we were at SEFF, 85 deg) Pretty sure its still early spring here.

Just kidding of course.

More weight = higher throttle needed to hover = more air going over ailerons. Has worked on airframes in the past for me. Maybe try a bigger battery or adding a little weight if you just cant counter the torque roll.

10-4 on the socks....it's flip-flops for Nall!

Going4Speed.....try a 33cc on a 74 or 71.....you can always swap it when Bigfoot comes out....I love my GR33 on the 74!

with my 42" slick when i am starting to roll i just push up on the throttle alittle and back down alittle and keep doing that really quick and for me it always start turning to the right then, but like i said only alittle bit on the throttle if to much you will either start getting higher or drop really quick. and yes a sim really is the best thing i couldent hover at all well i got it on the sim really good then i went out in real life 2 weeks ago i could hold it but not long and now if its zero wind i can hold it as long as i want.
