Apparent Reduction of control authority with increasing speed = blowback...Like a slower roll rate at full throttle than 1/2 throttle or less elevator authority at full throttle than lower throttle settings.....First fix to try....kick the voltage up to 6v if possible. Then check your endpoints.....if you've got the endpoints turned down to keep it from binding with excessive throw....change the control linkages to reduce the throw from the surface...then dial it UP in the radio. If you've got it on 6V and you're using "recommended" servos, improper mechanical linkage setup is the next cause for weak controls.....followed by binding in the linkage or hinges and possibly a faulty servo. Let us know what you find out.

ok so a nimh battery is 1.2V per cell how many V would it be fully charged?

More than 1.2 volts per cell..........

Pretty much all you would every need to know about nimh batteries...
















A fully charged cell supplies an average 1.25 V/cell during discharge, down to about 1.0–1.1 V/cell
