Kind of off topic: Are we still welcome at the FLIs if we have an EF plane?

LOL !!! Don't know...

The two that I have been to have had all types of planes. The key is to just come out and have a great time. Bring a good laid back attitude and don't be an ahole. If they follow the last two sentences, I would think anyone is welcome.

We'll need some hatcam of this....

48epp extras are very nice....I'm on my 3rd one...before I beat them up too bad, it's one of my favorites.

We will see
Not a bad deal if 7955's....don't buy it if 7985's. Get the package...strip it, sell the aeroworks airframe for $350 or so....buy an 87 or 89 used.....now you're dancing...

Wamsy, diggity, and myself have worked on this for hours and we can't get both servos to travel the same distance. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've never had to setup with a Spektrum before, I only flew Futaba . Here's my setup.

89 slick
Hitec 7955's
DX8
Spektrum 9110 rx
2" SWB Arms

Geometry looks close, but no matter what I do, one always seems to be to be traveling about 10 degrees more than the other.
I'm really striving to get that full elevator deflection but one keeps stopping at 38 degrees when I know it can go past that. I've switched out the servos to make sure it wasn't a programming issue, but it very well could be, it's just happening on more than 2 servos.

1) Reset the hitec programming.

What "mixing" are you using to get the servos working together....which channels, what TX? Any type of smartfly or just from the RX?

Nice plane PB....Now, flip it over and put some packing tape on the belly, and it's ready to fly...

What he said. I had this problem on my 87 and killed myself for an hour. Was just switching radios. Set to dual elevator(I had to mix on the previous dx7). But make sure you zero out all subs AND set endpoint on BOTH channels to 100. Then start from there.

Mine was actually sort of moving at different rates like the expo was off and that was throwing me off. Once I started from scratch...I remaidened the 87 in 5 minutes.
