Thanks. It does, I took some "qualities" from my old canopy and mixed them in with the new. Plus got my name on it

Should be awesome when it's done, great guy to work with also.

Hi all just wondering if the Sbach 342 3D takes the same batteries as the Beast 3D??? Also just wondering what the Sbach is like to fly. I am thinking of getting one as company for my beast

Anyone used to working with EPO foam, what is a good adhesive/glue for it?

Epoxy? Welders?

My F-22 will be here on next Tues.... Already got the Batts and now back to 3 Batts for the 57 SC! Will probably get one more by Spring.

Well, now that you know ...

I was going to suggest Beacon's Quick grip:

http://www.beaconadhesives.com/cggrip.html

I just put together a Skywing EPP plane with it, and I was happy working with it.

BUT it says it's not for use on rigid foam and recommends Beacon's "Hold the Foam" I didn't see that in WalMart (where I got the other, for cheap $), but I'll look for it next time I'm there.

edit: buyer beware, etc - I don't know if either of those will eat EPO. Looks like their "Foam Tac" is the foam safe stuff?

(I'm still hunting down replacements for UHU Por and Welder - the little I have left is like gold!)

Pretty sure Welders will melt EPO foam. I use foam safe CA on my umx planes.

Welders will eat depron. I dont think it will eat epo foam. Epo foam can be used with non foam safe CA glue and welders I'm pretty sure.

Umx planes arent made out of epo foam, they're made out of eps foam.

Gorilla Glue works pretty good on epo foam. It is great for fixing repairs on it. It's pretty much stronger than the foam.

Welders ate whatever type of foam that the QQ Edge is made out of. I tried to use some welders to secure the velcro in the tray and it ate into it quite a bit.

Yeah, I think the edge 540qq is made out of eps foam, which welders does eat. I've never personally seen one so I'm not 100% sure though.

I've got QuikGrip and Epoxy and GG. I like GG since it is lighter, but strong.

I think my F/A-18A was EPS but somebody else built it, got it used. Will probably use White GG for this one.
