Time to Fly AJ's Best!

The rain stopped and all the indoor electrical projects were done so managed to get out for a couple flights on the 57 SC.

We were having a lot of issues with my dad today, so was feeling pretty cranked up by the time I got to the JVS...

Glad the 57 SC can take a licking and keep on flipping! I think the HatCam had the Winter Blues today. Was stuck on Tungsten and blued out everything.

Venting With My 57 SC (4 min 50 sec)

Flight #2, was still intent on throwing the poor old bird around...

THE INCREDIBLE 3DHS 57 SC (4 min 31 sec)

Is the 51 slick comparable to the 57 extra?

I have the 51 & the 71 slick. Does the 57 extra fly as good as the slick? What about tail authority? It seems to me from the video that the extra has more of it....does it?

I fly, therefore, I crash!!!

57" Extra has great rudder authority!! The "only" negative (and it is not that big of a deal) for me for the 57" (again for me), is that on a windy day when landing, I feel the plane gets blown around a bit compared to my 59" Slick. I'm not saying it is bad, just that "light and floaty" gets blown around a bit.

Are the stock standoffs that come with a dle 55 the correct length for the 89 slick? If they are not, I will pm cmala for the correct ones.

My 71 Slick has more Rudder Authority, but not the power to weight ratio I get with the Motrolfly on the 4S-57 SC vs the 6S Motrolfly in the Slick. I would have to go 8S to get my Slick be equal on power and be able to flip like the SC.

True in the wind, landings are floaty, I have to either choose to float it down or drive it down (nose down) and dipping wings in crosswind. The SFG's can be a handful in crosswinds. But have landed this at 45 angles across the runway in short distance floating down riding the wind under power and can land in a short distance.
