I got a free plane motor and esc combo from PA. They sent me two by accident. When I called to find out how to ship it back they then charged my credit card for the second one. Then when they got it back they accused me of opening it and not packing it back correctly. I never even opened the box. It took several emails and calls to PA USA, then australia before I got my refund for the plane I didnt order.

Learned my lesson.

he... well, for me companies divides in no customer service, like
hobbypartz/hobbyking/etc, having a customer service, where if you change your mind they refund you, if something is not ok, they fix it,
having a good customer service, as all above+you can ask them a lot of things and they actually know what they sell, stand by their product and help you, etc, etc, etc, like 3dhs/ef/adc(they are overseas so i dont really have that much experience with them),
and mark from parkaero as the best i have dealt with... ( could recount everything he has done, but this is 3dhs plane thread...)

p.s. but thats just my personal experience...

As I wrote my reply I realized I must have a replacement gear set for a 65 MG so I must have an extra screw. Somewhere.

Hitting the hardware store tomorrow to see of they have something this size. Otherwise I will have to buy the whole replacement gear set.

I'm looking for the HS 85, but Alans info covers the 65 (same screw).
Check you LHS, my LHS had a hitec replacement set that had probably 8 -12 screws for a variety of Hitec servos. I was surprised, (a) they had it, (b) it was relatively inexpensive.

Will 57-60" size plane fit in an SUV at an angle without taking off the wings?

I fit my 57 SC with SFG's on in the back of the Durango. Have to put a rolled up blanket under the wheels to support the gear, take the weight off the wingtips.

Hey guys, I'm making a checklist of things I should do before I fly my 72" Extra. What am I forgetting?

(1) check all plugs/connections
(2) inspect wires for damage
(3) make sure batteries are charged
(4) test control surfaces
(5) fuel her up
(6) Screw hatch on

Have some one else verify control surface direction <never hurts, sometimes helps>
Range Check
Nothing loose inside
Retork the prop bolts
Check Wheel Collets are tight
