No he doesn't expect me to pay him anything. All that was damaged was the gear plate and he said he had already fixed it one time before.
Good to hear. Just chalk it up to experience.

I was brand spankin' new in the hobby and my buddy let me fly his new Cub. It "looked" like a fun little docile plane. RIGHT! I was all over the place on takeoff and I ended up breaking his prop and motor mount. I was so embarrassed. Bought him a new prop and didn't touch a Cub again for a long time. Now I love Cubs and have owned lots' of them.

Anyone ever deal with Airwild Pilot Shop? I haven't heard of anything about them, but I ordered a carbon prop and some servo arms from them. Good, bad?

I finally got some flights in this weekend at a local electric only fun-fly. utjason16 and I flew a whole bunch.

It was the first time I had flown in weeks, but I was not as rusty as I though I would be. Though I did fly on the sim before bed in the trailer for a bit.

Next weekend is another fly-in and then the Knoxville Huckfest only three weeks away! It is going to be a busy month.

BTW the Vyper Bype flew very well
