Did that already. Couldn't find anything, or maybe I was too tired to realize what I was reading

Hmmm. We should talk in a month or so (I'm getting married next month, so I want to save for a bit before I spend a sh**load of money on a frame...), and I want a 7X gasser.

I have that same motor with ice100 sitting on the shelf at home. Debating on what airframe and keep leaning towards the slick.

Asking because I'm thinking of doing that to mine but wondering/thinking about how to mount the motor. Then wonder how the CG would be since I have the rudder servo in the tail but I only have one servo doing both elevators.

I'd still rather sell the airframe and just get a new 71" if they ever come back in stock.
I converted a 71" gasser to electric by replacing the motor box. It's not bad, but you have to tear everything out. I only did it because I had a to replace the motor box anyways. You could just lighten the existing motor box, and use longer standoffs. I could sell you my 71". To bad the rudder counterbalance was ripped off yesterday.

The 70 Velox is pret-ty sweet man. It's my first 7x plane, but I've flown a few and the Velox is just as solid in harrier as any. I'm really surprised how slow it falls in an elevator with mine being a heavy setup and all. Probably every bit as capable as the Slick, just a little more violent.
