I agree with everybody else. take some time and fix the motorbox that is in it. you will get slightly better at repairs every time you do them and that when when you really do mess up that motorbox more than that little bit you will be more experienced and the whole MB kit will go in a lot smoother. my first MB kit took a week to do because i wasn't very experienced. now i can knock the majority of one out in a few hours. fix it and fly the crap out of it knowing you have a MB kit on standby. trust me that even just half hearted repairs are going to hold up on this size plane. a 7x plane might take a little more care but not a 47. i cracked up a 48 a little worse than that, lined it all back up and glued it, no popsicle sticks, and took it out and tried to kill it with KE spins and blenders. it held up. i re-enforced it anyways after that but i was sold that it was solid and wouldn't break.

Yeah, I wadded my 48's MB up pretty good once, and glued it all back together. It held up good til I snagged the grass in a WOT downline.... /cue "Taps"

I will be getting my debonder in the mail tomorrow, so you guys think it would be easy to debond the front part then glue the breaks then glue it back together? Because I think my firewall is at the correct angel anymore, and I want a nice flying plane, that is why I was just gonna get a new MB kit and put it on. I think I will debond the firewall then glue everything back.

I think you can dial back on the bolt tightness for the motor.

+1 and it also looks like the top 2 screws that mount the motor to the 'X' mount were backing out at some point. Wonder if that is what broke the other 'X' mount???
