That's Jim, not Joe.

Official word is that the flat foamies will be back later this year. They're moving to a different production facility. Get an EPP Yak. They're awesome.

And for the record, I want a Bigfoot too. With floats. And skis.

he was actually fibbing... there's actually no ETA outside of what we have already given, which the target was a late summer/autumn time frame...

So you like the EPP full fuse Yak? I've got a spare Omega 130 and four 65MG servos sitting around and I've considered putting it in one of those.

Alex, don't you think Jim or Joe or anyone from 3DHS would give us info on foamies or any new product if they were allowed to?

They are not willfully holding back information.
Settle down and be patient.

My hovercraft is full of eels.
I have a confession to make. I strayed from 3DHS and it bit me in the ass.

You see, a few nights ago I gutted my 33" EPP Edge so I could give it to Wamsy and ordered myself a (new Pitts foamy) to replace it. It arrived yesterday. I built it last night and the included wood parts literally crumbled in my hands as I was building it.

Thankfully, I found an unopened set of 3DHS wood parts for foamies out in the garage this morning. The (new Pitts foamy) will fly, but not without some help from 3DHS hardware.

I have a confession to make, too.
I flew an EG slick and liked it.

BUT it felt too floaty and breakable so I was restrained with what I could do (none of my full throttle horizontal blender crap).

And it didn't have enough aileron area.

And the KE capabilities weren't even close.

3DHS for life. Great flying planes, strong planes, pretty planes, nice hardware, reliable. As in, if it's 3DHS, it will be satisfactory.

I fly a lot of OPPs with setups of various quality, don't get me wrong, but nothing compares.
