The Scorpion straps are awesome. They use a rubbery coating on them that really really grips the battery and keeps everything locked down. By far my favorite straps.

If anyone knows someone named Georg from Austria let him know that he didn't put an email address on the contact form he sent to me. I have no way to contact him.

Thanks

What I do. On a 8s setup I put some velcro on the top of the battery to. Tuck them just over the corner of the battery. hadn't lost one yet.

the rubber ones look interesting.

I'm surprised with all those planes you don't have a backup. I use a old dx7 for the 87 and epp and a dx8 for everything else. HAving a tough time getting use to the feel of the dx8, looking around for a 9503. The frame is real close to the dx7.

My right thumb and hand are still in a cast so have not flown for the past two months either. We are in summer down here and the flying weather has been great. Can't even do any repairs or maintenance.

The cast comes off next Monday so hopefully will get enough strength back in the hand to fly again over the Christmas break

I have a 9303, but we are having a huge rainy spell, and the turn around is only three days right now, so, if I ship it by Priority mail, only a little over a week to get it back....

As to the feel of a transmitter....my son hates the 9503 or 9303, much prefers the DX7....but my all time favorite is/was the JR PCM10 series. I sold mine to a friend a few years back, and he recently bought a 2.4G module for it, but doing that doesn't give you model match.....

You know you can copy models between the two tx's using a trainer cable right?
That was a lifesaver when I upgraded from my old 9303 to the 9503. Then I just had to rebind the planes and the upgrade was complete. So... you can use your 9303 easily while that 9503 is away if you just take a couple minutes to copy over a few planes and rebind...

Sorry to see this Randidly.
It Actually broke the small bone too, up near the knee.

Wish I knew passed out woke up this way, basically fell on a flat floor.
No; screws and plate stay in forever.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
