Wow there are like no heli pilots on RCGroups. I guess they are all on HeliFreak.

Wow, Blade sure is climbing up the food chain FAST.

Blade has two things going for them:

1. Fantastic customer service.

2. Easy upgrade/skill progression. (Why would people switch brands when they started on an mCX?)

But I like this 500X, I just think it is a little out of my price range. But....YAY!... NO FLYBARS!

I noticed:

The pitch and aileron servos are in a "different" layout I haven't seen before.

The belt is DIRECTLY connected to the main shaft and tail. That I like. Makes for easy maintenance.

Not a big fan of the whole "back in black", so....

I am interested to see how this turns out. I hope it does well, and maybe I might have to get one.

I seen that on HH's website tonight. It looks like Blade may be finally knocking on Align's door with this one. They're also going to introduce a 300 class model as well.

With the AR7200BX mounted inside the frame like that,,,, how are you suppose to get to the adjustment screws ??
And IMO they are a long way from giving Align a run for their money!! Look how the tail servo is mounted still ..
And one piece landing gear? Belt drive?? I do like the AR7200BX and I am going to get one for my Trex 550 ...

HH says all adjustments can be done via Spektrum Tx.

How do you adjust the screws on the AR7200BX??? On a TX???
Can't be done...! Looks like you will have to pull it out of the frame?

Software adjustment instead of hardware adjustment. Just like gyros that have rate gain pots on them but can be adjusted via gyro settings on the Tx.

I think those 3 dials are for swashplate cyclic gain, swashplate direct cyclic feed forward and tail dynamic. I don't see any adjustment can be made via tx yet, from the manual. I am still try to configure out how to program and setup this rx.

correct
you have use the pots to change the gain other then the tail gain

you can watch the video on setting up the BeastX on youtube here

Microbeast V1 Setup: general considerations part 1 (8 min 44 sec)

the RTF 500 3D is not a bad deal you get a good TX heli lipo and charger for 850 all in one box
a package close to that would be a the 500E with the same TX and Lipo and a charger would easly be closer to 1000 + you have to build (i like building but for some people thats a -)
the 500X is a right on the line but not out of line ether again you get a lipo and charger in that cost all in one box so not to bad for some one coming from say the RTF 4503D the 500X wouldnt bad a step up same with the 300X which is a STEAL seeing as the BeastRX cost 220 bucks on its own so your getting the heli + lipo for 130 bucks

there is its called the 5003D
http://www.bladehelis.com/Products/D...ProdId=BLH1800
only see the RTF but it looks like there will be a BnF too id bet itll be 50 to 75 less then the RTF so 775 to 800 for it which is a bit out of line
i could set you up on a T-rex 500E for about the same with a lip and charger

its really on the RTF and FBL that are any good deals the 5003D would have to be under 700 to be a good deal as a BnF
