I do the same, and I have also piled her in tail-first at high speed a number of times with very little damage. I think that everyone should start out learning to use TH even on their FP trainers. It is far
easier to get in the habit of using TH right away - rather than having to unlearn the bad habit of cutting the throttle in a crash after months or years of reinforcing the incorrect response.

So, the entire heli shut down - including the rx & servos? Also - 4 volts would be about 5V below instant death for a 3s pack. LVC should have kicked in at 9V or higher. Did you mean 4V/cell?
