They are tracking well, I guess they are just a bit out of balance.

When I spooled it up on a gravel road I didn't notice any vibrations, it was just on the bench. After another pack Ill balance them (getting dark, want to fly this last pack).

Flew another pack through her, man, big smile, bit nerve racking at the same time. My only real life cp experience is a nano CPx and hovering a 450 clone, not including hundreds of hours of sim time.

Did some fff and loops/rolls this last pack, love it, bought this instead of the 450x because I wasn't feeling the $500 price tag (and the lhs didn't have any 450x). Was a bit hesitant when I opened the box at the hobby shop and it looked so small, looks and feels much bigger in the air. Need to buy some carbon blades and bump up the head speed a little bit, then I'll be one happy camper.

Swash leveler for 300X

The swash leveler for 130X from Xtreme also fits 300X.

Xtreme EA-073
Leveling Tool for Swash - 4.0mm (Blade 130X)

Since the anti-rotation bracket BLH4518 interfered the leveler slightly, I filed off the end of the leveler.

EDIT:
The following swashplate leveler might be better: it will fit both 130X and 300X without any mod.

Lynx LX0313 - Blade 130X Swashplate Leveler

Ahh dammit..

Flew it (again) today, third pack total on the bird.. 3:30 on the timer, coming in for a landing.. oh darn, there goes my 300 hitting LVC and falling like a rock from 40ft. Landed on the skids, broke the skids, cracked the frame in probably 5-6 places. Fuuuuuu. Test hovered it for probably 30 seconds prior to the flight, didn't top up the lipo, I got a solid 5 minutes out of the pack yesterday, thought it would be able to handle 3.5 minutes for sure. Can someone explain WHY heli's have a hard lvc cutoff? All my planes, the motor will pulse, oh, time to come in for a landing, nice and smooth, no damage to lipo. But nope, heli just falls like a rock, while all I can do is watch in horror and yell profanities. I'd rather ruin a $12 lipo than having to tear down my heli to replace a frame and more. 3.2v left per cell on the lipo, if it was a soft cutoff I could have easily landed and still kept the thing above 3.0v/cell.

Oh well... /sigh

Also, why is the frame made from such a wet noodle plastic? Where is the carbon frame? Ergh. Maybe I should have spent an extra $30 and bought a 450x. Darn me and my impatience.

Most Helis have a soft LVC power down rather than a cut off. Sounds like your esc is in plane mode for cut off. We just need a programming manual for the esc.

From what I read, this esc has no programming capability..

It wouldn't have been an issue if I could auto this bird, but nope. Hopefully the lhs has a frame in stock..

I'll call horizon tomorrow and ask if it's programmable, just to double check.

Good idea do let us know if it is I would like to double check mine. If it is programmable you will have to use a separate rx as the AR7200BX has an inbuilt safety that inhibits programming. If isn't it might be worth asking what the LVC is supposed to do in terms of reducing power or just a flat cut which it shouldn't do.

I did.. Was coming in for a landing at 3.5 minutes, hovered for 30 seconds prior to the 3.5 minutes. Figured I could easily do it since I flew it idle up for 5 minutes last time.

What batteries? E=flight? One of the first things I do with E-flight products is chuck the battery that comes with it. They're better than they used to be but still far down the performance list... like at the bottom!

Yeah, just the eflight. It served me fine for the two prior packs of just FF and a couple loops/rolls. Have to stock up on some ~1300's.

Still going to call horizon, lvc or not it shouldn't have fell from the sky like a brick.
