Inactive Alarm
The time delay for when the inactivity alarm begins can be adjusted from Inhibit to 5, 10, 30, or 60 minutes.
Some won't
Having to open the radio up to installed the Ratchet plate on the throttle while DX8 owners don't have too.
Wonder how long the battery door will last from the opening and closing for the SD card.

I might have missed the post, but is the dark grey/black version going to be an option? As really liked the look of that one.

Just curious, why is the DX18 LiPo 2600 and not 4000mah?

You really have to open up the transmitter to install the ratchet?
I have never opened up my dx8 because it involves losening the rubber strips... Doesn't seem like a nice job...

Yes- the smooth metal strip must be exchanged with the enclosed "bump" strips
Exactly as done on JR for years -EZ job.
The DX8 is easier to adjust but -does NOT use same stick assemblies
The rubber grips - frankly I would have preferred "tits" that stuck into holes in the case as locaters for the sides - all in all th double sided tape is not that bad to deal with - I have done a few and have not needed to replace the tapes -
You have to get into the case to do an exchange of stick centering tension and stop blocks when you shift modes that exchange throttle locations.

It seems easier than on the DX8(opening the back), you only have to peel back the tops of the L and R back grips. It looks like you dont have to mess with the side rubber grips.

I am confused by the supplied AR 9020 9 channel Rx. If you add an X-Plus8 module that seems to be 17 channels, where is the 18th one hiding?

VP

PS: How come the DX10T comes with the AR10000 Rx?

PS #2: I would have prefered Tx only at this point, save some money.

I was browsing through the manual and didn't see anything about this. I browsed, not read. Did I miss it?

Edit: Sorry, found it... Page 10

Is the AR9020 a new Rx?

The 9020 is listed for $149 on HH. You get the RX cheaper as a bundle with the DX18. You could list on here or flying giants. It would sell pretty quick if you put a good price on it. You sell for $100 to $125 and now your radio is $575

Heck you could sell the the 9 and pay a few more bucks and get the 12... Thats what I may do.

I have not got a email or tracking number from HH yet. . They charged my card so I am 90% sure it's on the way.
