Looks very nice, I may get one later on. Now if they do a Hawker Hurricane this size, That woud be a must have. I do like the 4 bladed prop, very nice touch.

I think we are just seeing the beginning. Maybe a UM BF-109 is next in line.

notice the indoor flight took wheels off for more spirited aerobatics... gorgeous plane, like the price, probably going to pass on this one, can't justify any more $100 1S warbirds, asex or not.

This is amazing. What a great start for 2012. Spit is perfect! I am going to have to request a Bf 109 umx as3x as we all know the spitfire is going to need a buddy to chase down Thank you Horizon, Dave and all you guys over there for stepping it up and making life more difficult with the woman! hahahaha! oooh, and im definitely buying the Mig 15 also. sighhhh, going to have to recycle some of my fleet.

Way to many airplanes!
I would not "recycle some of my fleet" too fast if I were you! Assuming your fleet has a lot of old ultra-micros, the new Spitfire board may fit in them as well, giving them a new life! Not sure if that board will be programmable or not, but no matter what, it may fit in some of our older 1S airplanes. I would love to try it in my Sukhoi XP, my Extra, my 4Site, well, pretty much any of my UMs. So you fly the pants off the Spitfire, and worst case, instead of buying new foam, you transplant the board into your old fleet, one by one. Crossing fingers it would be possible!

Well, they need to do something about the throttle to keep the altitude steady, but otherwise, yep, put the Extra into a hover, put the Tx on the floor, and go grab a coffee... Otherwise, why would you want the AS3X board on a Extra 300, it's already great by itself!

Just a quick note:

I've updated my FAQ to add all the new AS3X ultra-micro airplanes which came out today. So always remember to check it first if you have any questions, particularly if you're new to the AS3X technology.

And just in case (and for those poor HH guys), here's the current questions that have not been answered yet:

I'd rather be flying!

Watching the video, it appears that the Spit may use a larger motor than the XP, F4U, etc., given that the AUW is 1.6 oz. Plus, it's spinning a 4x4 four-blade prop, which makes one think that it may use a larger motor. The mCP X main motor, perhaps?
