I have a pocketrocket AT-6 if I want a little plane to hall a$#. This Spitfire for me is for relaxation. It's a great looking little plane and will look good in the UM hangar. Now we need a UM Zero to go with all the allies!
I flew mine about 10 times today and the best flight was doing 40ft passes about 75 to 100ft away from me at slow speeds..
the dang thing look like a real Spit!

another cool thing was making WOT turns towards me and the way the plane came at me looks like something from the movies

It's not you, at least the goofy part. The multi-posting play havok on those of us tracking this thread via e-mail and having our emails tracked via our cell phones though

As I said, I appreciate all info from people currently flying.

I have a total of 20 flights over the past day and no servo issues for me..
is this a common thing for other AS3X planes?
thanks

I heard the AS3X servos had problems on many other planes...

Mostly the CC, ive rarely heard of servo issues for the mig, beast, and Hyper Taxi. Heard of very little with the Geebee, but had it happen to me. I would say the CC has the most consistent servo loss, i would say with the others its more of a regular statistical loss.
Either way, for any AS3X plane i would recommend squirting de-oxit into the covered servos with a small syringe BEFORE you maiden, and let it sit overnight after you apply it.

[Ground] Speed change while going up or downwind is perfectly normal! Airspeed will be the same, it's just that we don't see Airspeed

Cue the can of worms I'm about to open here, but...
I'm pretty sure that the AS3X is not as effective as other planes due to the undercambered wing. AS3X Beasts and Sbachs with their propper wings are great, whereas the Carbon Cub with its undercambered wing is not quite so nice to fly.
