E-Flite UMX Carbon Cub SS

The E-flite UMX Carbon Cub SS is a feature-rich scale BNF model that offers performance that's an escape from the ordinary. Like the full-size Cub Crafters marvel, it's an immortal classic made more versatile than ever thanks to its high-output brushless power system and fully-functional flaps. Simply a joy to fly, you'll be able to leap from tight spots and cruise the landscape with confidence. Large credit for its gentle manners go to the onboard AS3X System that makes handling super-smooth, even in moderate wings. Unlike anything offered in its class, you'll discover agility that's rock solid—especially when diving in on that postage stamp called a runway. The UMX Carbon Cub SS is ready in just a few minutes. Just charge the included Li-Po battery and bind to your own full-range DSM2/DSMX 4-channel transmitter, such as the Spektrum DX4e. Go for a total bush-flying adventure and swap the stock landing gear for the optional E-flite custom float set (EFLUA1190) or expand your RC horizons with a friend and employ the top-mounted UMX sailplane tow hook.

I think i'll go for the Mig-15. I wish i knew somebody who could tow the umx glider for me with this Cub SS - now that's truly an industry first for this hobby.

If we weren't impressed by HorizonHobby already!... And obviously they listen to their custommers demands, hopes and dreams!
Thank you Horizon!

PS please don't let these UM(X)'s become bigger than what allready exists.
Many of us like them under 40cm wingspan and under 40g... Remember the good old Citabria; light and slow.
It's what makes the difference for some of us: taking just 15min to go to the local park (or our own backyard) or taking the longer trip to the flyingfield.

Oh man, they've went and done it now. I had about given up on them. I started this hobby a little over a year ago and love the um planes. Bought every one they came out with since I started until the last three and have no thought of the beast 3d, taxi, or geebe. But now they have gotten back in my pocket for sure. Will actually preorder this one. Love it, and they finally have given me a bit more wingspan in a um plane, plus all the other goodies. Gotta call the lhs this morning and get in line.

1. What's carbon about it?
2. If it has AS3X why the dihedral?
3. Can I switch the lights on and off from the transmitter?

The dihedral provides self-righting, and the AS3X provides smoothness and dampening from winds.

Ok... Yeah I'll have to get this one with the floats..

But then I'll need to buy a cheap boat as a rescue boat in case of water antics gone bad!!

This thing looks pretty sick. I wonder if the flaps will be incremental.
