Hello redbaron1
The wood painting was done by hand with a fine brush, line for line.

No trick, just a little work and time.

Yep no need to hand launch the alby. If you do you're just going to deny yourself one of the most enjoyable aspects of this bird-the beautiful climb outs when she breaks from terra firma!

I do agree, take-offs, low passes, touch downs and 2 wheel landings is someting you get addicted to!
Scale turns with alerion and some rudder is like the real WW1 biplanes.
Hand launch would be like eating candy with the wrapping left on
Cheers Lasse

I used a variety of acryl-colors, just mixing and testing.

I really enjoy slow flybys at eye level.Over all the alby is so enjoyable and relaxing to fly. This past summer i flew one flight of my alby for every three flights of my ww2 warbirds.I did this as the alby was so relaxing to fly that when i went to fly my ww2 warbirds, i needed to make the adjustment to the immediate differences in speed!Yep and two wheel touch downs are beautiful too.The alby imho brings out what this hobby is all about.PURE FUN-I LOVE MY ALBY!!

You "saw" a review for this in Fly RC or they announced one coming up? I dont recall seeing a review of this in there yet.

Gotcha. I just didnt recall seeing a review in Fly RC, it was probably a product announcement. I'm pretty sure a full review is coming soon though.
