You would think so... It appears to be working very well on Multi rotor in 4.01.. The Testing is on going but we have gotten great results back from most of the testers... As always you get some guys who dont follow up...

The Vbar support is part of a Castle Link release so it will come in the next Castle link.

Yes, I have no information on the sensor other than the Hobby wing sensor works very well and it is only 3 or 4 dollars...

Not sure if the sensor is coming anytime soon as there are some really good sensors out there already. Maybe someone from engineering will add to this thread. Thanks.

The vbar gov and 4.02 produce a fantastic slow start and noticeably more power and rpm control than internal gov alone.. Cudos to you folks at CC..

I have setup the vbar with keeping the vbar sliders at -100/100 with checked bailout and idle and proceeding with the flight.. I see no difference in performance compared to calibrating the sliders.. Setup is so easy with 4.02..

Clintstone does V4.02 have improved start logic over V4.01? Will I still have to crank up the Start Power or can I use lower settings like I had in V3.xx firmware?

4.01 and 4.02 is pretty much the same from what I have seen. I have asked engineering to get the start a little better... the motor starts differently depending on where it stops... I am testing stuff all the time and on some setups it works killer and others it needs to be pushed up to high...

Besides the logging, are there any advantages to using a CC ESC over say, a HobbyWing now 4.02 BETA is out?

Soft start and autorotation in the Esc with hand over to the VBar...

I am sure others will chime in... We also stop the motor on autos....
