Hmm... I thought the new internal gov was pretty freaking good. I got it to hold within 100 rpm with no oscillation. My only issue is the fact it droops to the low side then catches up, the v-bar gov over speeds and doesn't really let the rpm drop below the target HS. I have pretty much only ever used castle and used to just run WOT with good gearing. Since 4.0, I'm all internal gov and like it just fine.

I agree the V4.01 governor is excellent and I also use it. The problem is that V4.01 has some bugs and it wonít work with all helicopters but thatís the subject for another thread. There are probably going to be much more than just external governor support in the next firmware update. Thatís probably why itís taking such a long time to get it ready.

Hobby Wing sensor is working very well... I am waiting for our final sensor to test... I am flying 2 E7 for testing with KDE motors... I settled on 30 for the gain but 35 work well but it was more aggressive than I wanted... Very happy with the performance ... More flights tomorrow ... Another meeting with engineering Monday and I should also have the new sensors on Monday...

I hope engineering will let us do the Beta next week.

Thanks for the update! I can practically smell the electrons burning now. Need any alpha testers this week?
