How did the B-9 get the "Death Angel" name? Couldn't find anything about it on-line.

I'm not shure I think a Boeing employee or Army air corp personel named it, only 9 where built, the Martin B-10 was slilghty better & they chose it instead.

Ever get the feeling you have too many projects. . . . .


I'm making some slow but steady progress on the B-9, I've added magnets to hold the two fuselage halves together and I've epoxied the stabilizer to the fuselage, but there's a TON of work ahead!

I'm using 2 9" or so 3Blade prop off the parkzone Me-109, these should be perfect.

I'm using a free floating tail wheel of an old Great planes Stuka, should do the trick!

subscribed -- this plane and the Curtiss A-8 Shrike are a few of the golden oldies that I have at the top of my own list.

Now I have the B-9's Brushless motors mounted on thier Plywood firewalls, and I have the two BF-109 props on her, God I can't wait till I have her doing her flour & candy bomb runs from her two under-wing bomb racks.
