What is wrong with the WKM? I got a NAZA and am planning to buy a WKM, so I am very interested in the problem.

Thanks for the answer, because I would like to get the position hold in the WKM, which I think would make my flying a bit safer for my camera.

I will warm you..... you need to be able to fly well gyros only before relying on GPS PH to save you.

Do not spend $1k on a controller as a false sense of security. In a crash situation you will not have time to switch to PH, it will go down a possibly you will just lose another $1k

look at the many threads here about people with WKM that have had bad crashes or lost their multirotors....

To be honest... the only way you lose a multirotor is a runaway GPS system (or a lake)

learn to fly first!

Thanks a lot for the advice. I am in the process of learning and it is going very well, thanks to first taking my "pilot license" in AeroSim, but in a few instances where I put on too much speed and got a bit too far out I would really have loved to be able to switch to PH or come home button.

I think I will follow your advice and be better with my NAZA and wait a while with the WKM. Maybe I even then could get the new model, because at the moment they are selling them with discount, which could indicate, that a new version is close.

pick up a 450 flamewheel or 550 and a naza and learn to fly..... dont drop $1k on a controller for your first multirotor (that is my personal experience and advice)

+1, I would add to that to buy everything used. It saves money and when you are ready to move up you can sell it for what you paid for it.

Wonderful, I pulled the trigger on my Naze32. I'm surprised they work at all since the gimbal is developed on a DJI platform :P

Note: This hardware cannot be used with any DJI frames. This includes: FlameWheel 330, 450, 550, or any future or past frames released by DJI.

yep... i love TC

you always know what you are going to get with him. Anyone that gets mad at him just does not come to the discussion with the correct amount of prior knowledge.

he is true to himself, which i can respect..... for sure

oh and i just picked up 2 naza32 boards from him as well

if they work for gimbal control that will be great.... otherwise i will have to build 2 more multirotors to fly with multiwii again

I believe this is directed at the Naze32 when used as flight controller on DJI flamewheels. He was saying something about getting vibrations on the frames with anything but DJI flight controllers.
