I added some very simple detailing, the blue/gray camo scheme is actually quite nice and the colors are somewhat unusual.

Simple canopy latch installation, using this inexpensive lock :

Two short carbon tubes at the front.

Yes please do

I was able to take out most of the residual up-thrust with an elevator-to-throttle mixing on my radio (Futaba, mixing 5 menu), I added what looks like 10% mixing of elevator "down" to throttle.

The net effect is that when I go full throttle, the elevator goes down automatically about five clicks. That's is just a tiny bit, but enough to compensate the thrust issue entirely.

In your case it might be just two to three clicks, or even no clicks at all ...

Well you can grease the landing most of the time, but those retract mounts are just flimsy. Scalefying is supposedly talking to CMP about doing something about it.

Hey Mopar, that went very well !

Nice a bit hot but smooth landing, your field seems at least even . The L-39 slows down quite a bit, it does not even need flaps. It seems yours was climbing too initially. And the aileron throws in the manual are like twice of what's needed.

Hi UC, yes I used "GE Silicone II" glue from home depot or lowe's to secure the fan, and the ducting to the fan. The esc is secured with wood screws I think.

Thanks Herb I see now in the pic your esc has the holes for screwing it down. Do you use any ge silicone to keep the esc heat sink from swimming around on the esc board
