Hey Bill. Good to that pretty face of yours again! Good to be back and thank you. This model is very elegant, not sure when I could do this one. I am starting with the Spyro III first. Perfect size for my. I am downsizing with my aircraft....I want all my gyros to run on 3 to 4 cell 1200mAh packs.

That a great idea Chris! Smaller gyros let's me have more in a small space and the batteries are reasonable too!

Joe,
Hope you don't mind me jumping on to your thread?

Dave has moved his model onto me to have a play with, he didn't really fill me with confidence by saying 'if I give you a tenner will you take it off my hands'
I managed to get it ready yesterday and triple checked all my measurements etc. Playing it safe with a 20 degree hang angle and a thrustline 20mm above the CG I went out to the field yesterday evening before work.
I did take my camera but just rested it on a box whilst I played, so the footage is pretty rubbish. Will make some finer adjustments next and go out again to try it when it stops raining.
I can't believe how noisy it is

Regards

Rich

Nice one Rich....one more hop turning into a circuit!!
You are right about the nose though, at least you will be able to use it to clear the field off in autumn

Joe is there any further news on yours??
