EDF Delta-ish 3D with multi axis thrust vectoring

I've reinjured my back in a bad way so sleep has given way to free build time while I await mri's. I built up a leadfeather 3d delta and was left with some interesting scraps. This is what popped into my head after takin my meds, so i broke out the razor knife and gorilla glue.

I've been collecting some edf setups for a rainy day and this seemed like the perfect time to break one out. AUW should be in the 11-12 ounce range...depending on what battery I run.

Overall length is 28" and the WS is 25" with 344si of wing area. The goal is a different looking Edf delta with good slow speed and 3d-ish handling. I'm coupling my elevons with my ailerons, much like some have done with their F22 builds. I'm adding some superlight 55mm wheels up front so I can take off.

Motor is a 55mm 4300kv setup with a exceed 30a Esc all purchased from hobbypartz.com. I also have a 64mm 4300kv here if I need more juice, but I'm hoping it wont be necessary. Ill be running a decased orange rx, 2x 9g servos, and 1x 5g servo on the rudder.

Look's good. thrust vectoring should work you may lose some power that way. I all ways mount edf on top in necell with thrust tube. Nice build tho

Yeah, I knew I'd be losing some power by placing the fan where I did, but was shooting for more control on the low end. The way I figured it, it's only foam so it's worth a shot. I dropped the use of the thrust tube for the same low end performance goals.

Thanks for the input! I'll be doing some glide testing today of possible, to zero in on the cog.

Well I weighted it to put the cog at 9.5" back (roughly 1/3 of the wing area) and got a very nice glide out of it. I moved it up to 9.0" and it dove slightly, back to 10.0" and it stalled, then back to 9.5" very another flawless glide.
