Of course, given they're at the same electrical potential.

So what do you think about this 24V 1500W Power source. Would this power an iCharger without a problem?

So as long as both are plugged into the wall, both have a wire connecting pin 11 to another and then pos to pos and neg to neg I should have approx 95 amps at 12v safely? And the cases can touch another...

Depends on the particular iCharger, the desired charge output, and available source power.

Use a 220V circuit or a 20A/115V circuit and keep total charge power to ~1300 watts or less and you should be ok.

Correct, provided your circuit is capable of sourcing adequate power.

Papa, sorry, you have me curious. What are you powering that needs that sort of current at 12V?

My hitec x2-400 if my math is right it can pull like 65 amps I guess? Granted I only charge at about 210 watts per side. But its only a 12-18v charger so doing them in series is not an option. Doing both my 4s packs is pulling 37 amps if I do both at once at a 2c charge rate. And those are the biggest packs I have (6950mah 100c). But I have three of these power supplies so I figured why not right? Can my house outlet handle two of these power supplies doing maybe 30-35 amps each if I maaxxed out the charger?

Per Hitec, the input current maxes out at 60A. And input voltage is, as you said, 12-18V.

So a pair of supplies in parallel (capable of 94A) would be more than sufficient. I wouldn't do 3, if it were me, it's just more noise, for no benefit

And honestly, if you're not going to exceed ~40A input current, I'd probably keep it simple, and start with a single supply. Easier to wire, quieter, etc. If it doesn't have trouble (I've seen someone mention testing his to something like 54A), I'd probably just leave it. That's just me.

Another option (too little too late, I realize, but maybe it helps someone else) would be the DPS-1200FB supply. 12V, 75A, 900W. A single one of those could max out your 60A-input charger. They're supposed to be light and quiet as well, which is nice.

Why only 1300 Watts?

1500 watts output from PS * .85 (conservative charger efficiency) = ~1300 watts charger output. Going above this is begging for potential trouble, at least in my experience.

I am currently running that charger on one supply and my Hyperion 0610i on the other. I just got a third one as a replacement for the one with a slight ticking sound. However the one that "ticks" works fine, and does not tick once there is a load on it so I think it is fine. So now I have three of them, I just figured to make use of them. I have yet to try the X2 doing two 4S packs at a 2C rate on the power supply yet as I have not had the time to race the truck around at all LOL.

That other supply looks real nice, maybe I will pick one of those up for the X2 and use one of these 600's on the Hyperion if I ever feel the need. But doing the 4S packs and nothing bigger (I don't own 5-6s packs) I don't feel the need for anything else right now.

I mean honestly, I already own these three 600's. Paralleling two would make more sense than going out and getting another one. Then I would have to sell two of these and I would rather not deal with that unless someone wanted to pay 1 billiondy dollars for them for all 15 mins of my time to modify them.

It was just mentioned as an FYI, I'm not trying to make you buy something else

Oh I know, I was not implying that. Just kinda reasoning out everything .

This new supply does not tick, so we shall see.
