Yak 54 beta build and bug testing spot for Tim H's (Foamy Factory) new plans.

Here is where I am so far with the Yak 54 beta plans/construction.

Fuselage cut-out and CF spar added.

Wing cut-out w/ template.

Center and Spar line added and ailerons cut.

Ailerons beveled 45 deg.

Routing the channel by hand with an exacto.

just a note

Tim so far so good. I did go with the alternate wing.
The plans tiled just fine and were clear and concise.
I found them to be very straight forward and easy to build from.
Fun, Fun

Great job on the covering--that's a beautiful paint scheme!!

Can I ask what kind of film did you used to cover it? Can you use an iron setting that's hot enough to adhere the covering without melting or distorting the foam?
