Electric Flyers Only (EFO) new Web site

The Electric Flyers Only of southeastern Michigan (EFO) have a new Web site URL:

http://www.theampeer.org

The move was necessitated because .mac will cease to exist in June, 2012

The original site was homepage.mac.com/kmyersefo

If you find an interesting link here on RC Groups with the homepage address, theampeer.org can replace homepage.mac.com/kmyers and should put you on the same page.

Thanks for checking in,
Ken

Oh yeah. We've been online since October 1996 and the Ampeer has been available since March of 1988 via postal mail. The Electric Flyers Only, Inc. of southeastern Michigan have been an AMA chartered club since February 1988. I guess you could call us Pioneers, but that sort of makes us 'old', doesn't it?

Experienced works for me.

I've been following your build and it is looking good Mark.

Hi Ken
You keep it up! Lots of great stuff, both what folk have been actually making and there's plenty still relevant in the 'archives' for those who want to 'push the envelope' in their hobby.

It's down to you I now fly electrics like I do, rather than glow powered models.

Regards

Dereck

I enjoy hearing about groups that have endured the test of time and can still maintain a sound membership.
One of my clubs has been in existance since 1968. We still have several charter members--me included--in our ranks. The club has used the same field since our first year,

We have only two of the charter members; myself, president for all these years - maybe Czar is better title - and our vice-president, Richard Utkan of Milford, MI, who has been vice-president the whole time.

What is probably most amazing about our club is that we have never had our own flying field. I'm pretty sure that there are not too many 'outdoor' RC Clubs that have been together this long with no flying field of their own.
