I've got 14 Nano Tech 460's and 4 Gen's Ace 450's! No low cells. I don't like the long leads on the Gen Ace's! The Nano Tech's are lighter, have more capacity, and just a touch smaller. I just recieved 4 Nano Tech 1800 3S 25-50C packs. They all had 3.8 V per cell. I've never recieved a bad battery pack yet (from HK)! (Oh, why did I say that? Gheeezzz) Ron

Out of curiosity, have you done a cycle on the Nano's? I used to run the blue 500mah turnigy's, and when I cycled with my PL8 found that they were only good for about 420 mah down to 3.25 Amps. When I got my 450mah gens Ace, I cycled them and found that they were good for 450-460 down to 3.25 Amps.

I can't really see any diffrence in the capacity (10mAh),but I can see a big diffrence in performance. They remind me of a SCR Ni-Cad battery. High discharge, flat power curve, but when they dump, they really dump! They seem to produce more power over the discharge curve. My CY can hover at 60% throttle at 4 1/2 minutes flight time, but when they hit the end of the cycle ( with my planes) at 6 minutes, you plane will litterly "fall out of the sky"! Ron

On the last order of 15, I had one pack with that same condition. Cell #2 was at 1.9v. But it looks like the charger was able to get everything balanced out...

Other than that, no problems.

I did a lipo cell balance and got the cells balanced, I was then able to charge one of them. But one battery cell #1 will not go past 3.10v and the charge will never end. Oh well I will just pitch it and order a couple more...

I have been flying all my epp's on 3s, I have about 20 3s 460mha packs. But the Crack Yak with the Series X motor on 2s is the way to go! I love the power over my 3s setup's.

Last summer I was doing a lot of night flying. I put 2 1/2 meters of led's on my 3DHS Extra. Here are a couple of vids... The LED's turned the Extra into a boat anchor but its a lot of fun to fly at night! It's so bright you can't look at your airplane before you take off or your blinded for a good 2 min.

Nice weather here today, 60 deg w/ very light wind. Went flying with my Father-in-law, he just finished the 32" Edge and I brought a few, including the Crack Yak. We had a blast.
I flew 4 flights on the Crack Yak, tried both the 8 and 9" prop, at the moment I'm liking the 9" better, probably because I've been flying the 32" Edge with the old motor w/ 9".
The CY seems to have a lighter feel to it and more control surface authority. Love them both but they do "feel" different IMO.

Nice Lights guys, I have them on my 32" Edge, Pretty cool to fly at night!

I flew my 3DHS Extra today and a scratch built leadfeather Yak 55, made me realize how good the Crack Yak is and how bad all my other EPP's are.

Ahhhhh I'm so weak! I just orders the TH 32" EPP Extra Slick and another Series X motor...

Anyone flown the Slick?

This thread has been moving so fast I don't think everyone got to see my butt catch video. You only have to watch the first and last 30 seconds, but it's worth it........

Yeah, killer video Austin! The Yak really compliments your skills, you match up with it really well IMO.

Speaking of managing batteries, a nice goodie arrived in the mail today. A Hyperion EOS Sentry. Half the price of the Futaba BR-3000 unit, essentially the same thing, and very handy indeed.
