Yeah but you have to prop down to a 8x4.3 for a 3s. I prefer 3s because i like fast aggressive planes. If you like slow and floaty 2s is the way to go. 3s can still fly slow and floats pretty good but not like 2s with a 9x4.7. I use 2s with 9x4.7 for night flying so i can keep up with it easier, it can get pretty wild on 3s

Nice flying again Jimbo.

That tray and strap setup is sweet, man more things to spend money on
Might have to make room in the budget for that somehow, looks very comfortable and put things just where you want them. Ido do you get that little button for the bottom of the tx with it? the stand might be a useful addition too.

Did you see the heater? mmm nice warm hands. Anyone for toast at the field

I have 14 flights on mine now but I don't think the elevator servo is going to make it much longer. One direction from center sound fine but the other sounds real bad. These are the power pack servos and I am sorry I went that way as it looks like it will be hard to change out.

It's not that hard at all Ohio. Unless of course you drowned it in welders when you installed it. A sharp xacto and a steady hand will do it.

Charging my packs right now for some quick flights.

Still no worries. I had done the same on my 1st Twisted plane - an Xtra Slick.

Only took a couple minutes and a sharp Xacto knife to get the elevator servo out.

Glued the new one with no problems and all was well afterwards.

Now when I build these planes, I just put a dab of Welder under the tabs only. That's all that is needed.

Anyway, just go for it - you'll find that it no where as difficult as you might think.

JC

ps - Ido, welcome to the Crack club.

As Cody mentioned earlier it's not that bad to remove the elevator servo.

It's going to be interesting what Ido can do with the Yak. Though I think he can 3d a brick.
