Im finding that my model attrition is higher, all that extra power is affecting the models a bit more, crack yak rudder stopped working today, and the pitts prop came off, just with normal flying... |

I had my maiden today and as much as it was fun it felt like I could use more power...
(ex. at time the hover just didnt kept its height, and not just towards the end of battery). I am using the power setup combo settings, with Lipo Twisted Hobbys 2S 450mah 25~50C, and Prop Slow Fly 9 x 4.7 "Tuff Prop". any ideas, or did you guys experience the same ?? |

Tbone that's hinky, I've got power to spare with the same setup. Did you calibrate the throttle?
I'm lucky if I get 5 minutes on a 450 pack let alone 6. At 5 minutes I'll kill my packs, though I do fly aggresively. |

Hey guys,
Been flying the Leadfeather 3D EPP Yak 55 coming on 4 years now. 2s indoor on 9x4.7, 3s outdoor 8x4DD is my favorite setup on the Tunigy 2730 1500kv (1600kv real). Mental power. Weighs the same as this crack yak. I just built my second one about 3 weeks ago as my 3.5 year old Yak was gettin beat up. So my question is, Crack Yak or the new Crack Yak LITE? I'm going to be outdoor flying 90% of the time, so 3s will be my setup so 1750kv is a little out of the question most likely. In fact, I don't even think I'm going to replenish my 2s lipo array as many of my old rhinos are getting tired. I do fly 3s indoor at times on my Yak now and yes it's INSANITY but sooooo much fun lol. Is the EPP thinner on the Crack Yak LITE? Since I wont be trying to save every gram of weight that i could using 3s, I'm leaning towards the regular Crack Yak as it should be more durable, handle wind better and is better built for 3s setup than the LITE. Thoughts for those who have owned both? |

Before plugging your battery to the ESC, put your throttle all the way up. Turn your radio on then plugg your battery in. You should hear the ESC make its usual noise followed by a couple of short beeps. When you hear the two short beeps pull your throttle all the way down and the ESC should finish arming as usual , now the throttle should be calibrated.
