There has been some talk in the drotek 10DOF IMU thread about creting a thread that has info on how to setup all the different IMUs to MWC. The goal is to reduce all the "Why wontthis IMU work?" threads; these have become more common since MWC 1.9 and the debug2 (I2C) errors(since it removed the workaround for incorrectly hooked up IMUs). Hopefully this thread will expand to contain instructions for most IMUs!

1. Connect GND from the IMU to the arduino GND.
2. VIN to a 2.6 to 5.5v source(Arduino 5v, or use a external power supply and a common GND with arduino)
3. SCL to Arduino SCL(A5, no pullup needed)
4. SDA to arduino SDA(A4, no pullup needed)
5. 3V and 1.8V out are available to use for other powering applications if you want, not required. SA0_G and SA0_A are also not needed. 400khz fast mode supported. define L3G4200D, LSM303DLx_ACC, HMC5883
Wii nunchuck and motion plus:
If you connect it as in the pic you shouldn't need to enable internal pullups on the Arduino. also check if your Wii acc/gyro board has a voltage regulator. if it does then you can give it 5v, if not then you must give it 3.3v.
if you have a strange Wii clone board, use the above picture and the continuity feature of your digital multimeter to find where the 5v, GND, SDA, and SDL pins on the board. 400khz fast mode may work on Wii clones
here is another clone. you have two options for wiring up the board; one cutting traces, the other without cutting traces.

Simply connect as in the picture, enable the pullups on the board with the solder bridge(or dont solder them and use Arduino internal pullups). make sure VDD is connected to 3.3v NOT 5v! 400khz fast mode is supported

enable internal pullups on the arduino. 400khz possible. define ITG3200, BMA180, BMP085, HMC5883 in the config code.
