Based on your Jack-in-the-Box head, I'm going to try a 3D head for my Superman (or whatever it ends up being) build. I've ordered one of these heads from eBay for a whopping AU$6.29 delivered . I'm not sure of the weight, but I'll see when it turns up. Any tips for mounting it?

BTW I have finally figured out a way to CUT DOWN my boxes and
get the Shipping Girth to UNDER the 79" limitation.

So International shipping is now a very distinct possibility and
a bit less than Global Express.
Currently Most international shipping is between $40 and $60.
A bit of a bite but much better than previous $150 typical estimates.

For Jack, I slide him over the laminated ply head profile of Flyguy. I keep the slot narrow and the friction holds it in place. This will allow head changes to other Jack's, seasonal, or other people altogether since the frame is a generic suit.

Ms Emerson takes to the sky

Rec'd my wings from Birdofplay and took her out to fly. She is a really a fun slow flyer. This configuration makes the female Flygirl really fly well. Total weight came out to 4 lbs with about 12 sqft of wing. Legs are used as rudders and wing ends are elevators. 4 flights today without any issues.

So how did the rudder feet work out ?

The vid was too brief to make a judgment.

Rudder feet are great. Nice tight turns. Will try some barrel rolls after Over the Line. I knew from my Witch that elevons would have too much adverse yaw but as just elevators they handle pitch fine.

Bill, here is the link to the flygirl61 on which she is based.

I really didn't like the way she flew so I experimented with angel wings. They are available from birdofplay. She is not a cheap build but she is very easy to fly; a lot of carbon. I turned the feet to rudders from elevons and the wing ends are elevators. I bought a foam female wig storage head and carved her breasts from 1 lb foam block. She is not an easy build so she would fill time. Let me know if you get serious and I'll get some pictures together.

The thrust angles are for a motor in the pusher configuration but with a tractor (std) prop.
