I imagine its going to be like the other micros that have removable landing gear. Simple on and simple off. But off looks sooo much better

Well there we have it... Horizon also have got a jet, but I had to laugh in a way when I saw it was the Mig-15... bit disappointed it's not an F-86

Being AS3X does that mean it's 2S and around 5A max? Or will there be a 3S version of the AS3X?
Regardless, this version of the AS3X being tuned for micro jets, might be the most useful of all for our own models.

Looks like the GP F-86 and HH Mig-15 are about to lock horns. Big question is what is the price point for the Mig? Based on the other UMX releases, it's probably going to be one of the more expensive micro jets - but possible the most capable in terms of having the AS3X.

I dopplered the passes: first run ~29mph, the downwind run ~47mph!

Looking real nice Dave! Out of all the color variants, the red top is most appealing to me. It makes it MUCH easier to orient at a distance too.

$99 BNF would be great!

Hint: An A-10 with counter rotating fans would be really nice.

Way to many airplanes!
New 180 motor? Kudos to HH which basically design a motor for each airplanes they make (and kudos to the designer who work for them, great work!)

Yea... $99 is not gonna happen. I agree. More likely to be in the $159-$179 range.

Wow nice! Honestly I could see this coming from a long way away though. High Proformance motors, mini Strykers... once the AS3X tech came out, it was just a matter of a few months. The control envelope and stability was always the one thing keeping them back from making planes like the gee bee, that taxi thing, and now of course a micro EDF.

If Nitrocharged's dopplers are right then this thing could be a pretty sweet little plane! And a smaller fan than the Hobbyking Mig/86. I've never flown an AS3X myself, but I'm sure it'll help with the stability and such on such a small plane (not to mention the aerobatic maneuvors it can probably maintain).

Coming from Horizon, I'm sure this thing is gonna fly better than anything else on the market for sure, and possibly similar to its larger scale counterparts. I love the addition of gear though for those of us who hate treating our babies like paper airplanes. As for price point, I don't see it being cheaper than the UM Stryker at $160. But honestly, I think I'd be more than willing to drop that on something that looks this promising.
