I put this on my Quad with a GoPro that just goes along for the ride.

I had my wife spot and I explained her how to spot and what information I need from her. She did a great job... really.
So, the maiden went OK. No damage to anything. What I learned is that FPV isn't as easy as you guys made it look. With a very basic set-up the Field of View is narrow which makes it hard to tell how far away from things you are and how high up you are.
Its gonna take some getting use to. I might just hook the Rx up to a small LCD until I get comfortable with FPV.
Congrats OZ.

On a side note: Josh Maidened his Tri-copter tonight..... it will go FPV soon as a few more bugs are worked out.

Yep, the first couple of flights are really nerve wrecking. After a few flights you will get more comfortable.
