falcon 120 with simjet 3000


i have a falcon 120 bare air frame, and a simjet 3000 turbine with auto start??

1, will this turbine be powerfull enough with 33lbs thrust? at what angle do i mount it as my electric props are all slightly offset??

2, i need some good info on retracts/brakes

3, what and where do i get the desired fuet tank for the falcon from as they are different from normal nitro tanks as kerro/jet A1 will melt it if im correct?

so i will be adding pictures soon as i cleared out the garage today ready for the build so far i have

spektrum DX6i (will be changing any advice welcome)
simjet 3000
falcon 120
futaba servos in the wing

any help on further items needed would be a great help and order of apllication so i dont fit something then have to rip it out and start again

ok so iv bought a turbine thats too big i think its smaller than the jetcat 120/160?
so will it be ok to use i mean isnt it better to have more than enough power you dont have to use it all,

what size jet would you put it in as the falcon is pretty big and its my 1st build of a jet turbine as i cant stand the din of a nitro engine.

and its not a joke post im serious just new to turbines

and i like to dive in at the deep end!

but enough small talk jet talk and info please everyone and thanks for the responses so far.

You need an engine that puts out about 14Lbs to 18Lbs of thrust. A simJet 3000 would literally rip the wings off.

well the falcon is for sale as iv just bought a cermark viper jet MKII such a beast!!!

hi, only nitro, EDF, and electric planes and heli's but how hard can it be? im joining my local jet club, the bmfa and jma? and gathering as much info and support as i can as they fly jets.

i have also made another purchase for this turbine i got the cermark viperjet MKII yes its probably the wrong jet to learn with but if you dont try you dont know, its in my other post but now i think the turbine has a faulty ecu so im looking to buy the xicoy unit to fit any thoughts?

Dont be to proud to let the Pro's at your club maiden your plane, or to use the BuddyBox with you. Its a large investment but thats nothing compared to the damage a crash could do to your Jet community. Its not unheard of that people with little experience, can fly turbines. Heck I flew my first turbine 11months after getting my wings. But be SMART about it. Leave the ego at home and take the advise of the Pro's. You have one thing going for you..The bigger they are..the better they fly
