Thanks!!!

I'd just like to say "Thanks" for Kris, Steve and all the IRKS guys for putting on the aero tow today. You guys managed to get some great weather and the field looked great. I had a good time seeing the 6M Ventus in the air. I'll take my lumps for my knucklehead mistake with the TG-2-it's fixable. And thanks to all the Jax crew for their help too.

All,

I want to thank ALL who attended our first Aerotow event. We had a grand time.

We hope that this has sparked a renewed interest that will get those who have Giant Scale Sailplanes collecting dust to dust them off and join us in the future.

Great event put on by Kris Van Nostran and the IRKS club yesterday. I personally had never seen scale gliders before and had never attended an aero-tow event so it was eye opening indeed and certainly made me look forward to getting one of these huge graceful machines in the future.
The amazing thing was how fast the tow planes took these sailplanes to altitude and also how well many of them thermalled. It was a gorgeous day and there was no shortage of lift to be found. Many times the large gliders were accompanied by eagles and our ever present buzzards.
I had a great day out watching the fun and taking a few photos.

Thanks Steve.

We had a beautiful day. Our site is known as the thermal generator. Lots of flying. I hope we have sparked a renewed interest in Giant Scale Aero Towing here in the Sunshine State.

I am looking into attending one of the Aero Tows out of state later this year.

Gordon,

Thank you for posting all the pictures.

I could tell it came from a different camera because of the watermark at the bottom-right. In fact, I tried to bring up the website URL in the watermark, but it's hard to read.

It's Romans excellent f3b website.
He is the inventor and manufacturer of the LoLo recording Altimeter and his tension recording device to record line tension. Check out the english version of his website.
