Just flew mine a few days ago for the first time on 3s per "nitrocharged"'s suggestion.... Fantastic Packs came down a little warm but nothing to worry about. I picked the 3s 180mah nanotechs and got around 2:20 of flight time with mixes of full throttle and and half or more throttle. Tons of fun and highly recommended

has anyone had an issue with the motor coming loose? I havent had time to open it up today but had 2 flights that went fantastic, on the second flight, I heard a noise when rolling inverted so I brought it in. I found that the center of the motor is loose. The windings/case is solid but the inner part of the motor is whats messed up. Any ideas?

Can you be more detailed than 'loose' and 'messed up'? It's hard to gauge the problem from the description.

Doh! Probably in the middle of the field somewhere...

On a brighter note - Congrats! You're the first one to report a motor falling apart on you.

Wow I hope that doesn't happen to me when mine comes in tomorrow. I can't wait to fly it. Anyone have any tips for my maiden flight?

I'd buy a new one just to be safe. You may find that when the back end fell off, the motor kept spinning and rubbed the windings, shorting them out.

Just got done with my maiden flight with my 30mm sabre. I'm flying in an area too small I think for the plane. I don't like how the plane completely shuts off when the battery is low. Yea I know I drained it too much but it was hard keeping track cause I kept crashing. This time hopefully I'll keep it up as I finally have it trimmed right and not nose diving anymore lol

I made my own 12v power supply out of an old pc power supply. So now I can charge in the house and have a fan blowing on the charger and battery.

Anyone else having trouble with their elevators? I have down but when I want to go up it seems they only go half way up it just started this on my second run. I had to put a lot of down trim cause it wanted to nose dive.
