Yes

No special action is required on your part, although I would suggest asking for your FREE AnyLink before you leave the shop. Dealers will be getting them with their orders of Tx-R airplanes so they will be in stock.

It's not Tower's promotion, but Great Planes':

http://www.tx-ready.com/promos/free-anylink.html

You get the same promotion if you make the purchase through ANY hobby retailer.

Reply from tower about not having the FREE AnyLink

Thank you for writing Tower Hobbies.

We will be adding this information. We have not yet "officially"
announced the free AnyLink promotion but they are hooked up on the
system. Sorry for the confusion--it's a timing issue at the moment.

The F-86 says late January but based on what we're seeing in terms of a
high degree of interest in the product, there could be shortages. Please
note that all delivery dates are estimates that we get from the
manufacturer. These dates can and do change and we have no control over
the production of the item. Delivery dates are provided as a guideline
and are not guaranteed.

Hmmmm...the second part of that message is not good.

Hopefully that is totally CYA.

That is awesome, ordered my cable to the anylink working with my DX8. I will use my tactic radio from my DR1 until it gets here.

It's snowing with 15 to 40 mph winds almost every day, I can wait a little while. The only good thing about the snow is that when it gets deep and is still fluffy, it helps prevent damage!

Now, why did you have to go along and do that: use all four proper channels (rudder, elevator, aileron, throttle) and the Good Lord intended?

Here I was, minding my own business speed-reading the thread with the erroneous assumption that it would be a 3-ch (el, ail, thr) plane with no rudder. Seeing that a rudder would be what was necessary to keep it in the air at times, I was content to just browse.

Now, I am getting all hot & bothered, thinking that THIS may be the ultra-micro to keep in the car 24/7 to fly even if there is some wind.

Y'all have just made my next model purchase that much harder. I hope y'all are satisfied.

Wait until we pick it apart and find out there is room for another aileron servo so it can use flaperons.

The F-86 is one cute micro jet. Saw the F-86 fly today at AEF2012. It was awesome! Flys about 5 min on a 200 ma 2S LiPo. Ground handling was good, rudder did a good job of steering the jet. ROG very easily. The transmitter adapter worked great. Very simple to setup. He had his attached to a new Futaba 18Z.

Thought I would share some comments from the F-86's first outing at the Arizona Electric Festival
