I think you might get warned for the above post.
Would you like to appeal this?

I understood that I got warned for the above post. Of course I'd like to appeal it, being awarded points for that statement is ridiculous.

I've seen YOU (though it could have been Jim Bourke, but I'm pretty positive it was you) use jackass in a post, after explaining that depending on the context it could or could not be an offense, but I get points for a letter and symbol combo that has no context?

Warning - Person Attack
I tried to explain to a person that you weren't allowed use profanity even if you substituted symbols for the letters and said, "if I remember right just the letter/symbol combination (word removed) can be considered a rule violation depending on the context."

The word I was referring to was FOLK, thus the reason context has to be considered. There is a point to which moderation shouldn't be abuse and common sense should prevail, I think we've reached that point.

There was no personal attack, I was explaining to a person that was quoting a personal attack that you can't use symbols to partially cover over profanity and quote a personal attack.

See how ridiculous this is?

It doesn't seem ridiculous to me. There is a very small list of words we consider "profane" here. Those words are in the swear word filter. Do not circumvent the swear word filter using asterisks or other characters to obscure the word.

In context I think it would be very unnatural to think you are saying the word "folk" so please edit your posts.
