Apparently Flint is an IC kind of town. It is, BTW, home of General Motors Engine Plant, and there must be a bias here.
Anyways, I know that I'm not the only e-flyer, because my club has a couple. I'll check out this post in a couple of weeks and see wassup. ____________________ Don |

Hi Don...I live in New Hudson, can see 96 out my back window, could be in flint 35 or 40 min. Any old landfills or large hills in the Flint area? I would love to give slope soaring a try. Would like to see another all electric event in the area besides the one down here at the Midwest field headed by Kieth Shaw and Ken Meyers.

Would be great to find other e-flyers in the area. I am in Essexville, Mi. 45 minutes north of Flint. Two good clubs in the area, but they are predominantly IC.
Posting info about event would be great. I am somewhat new to electrics (flew IC stuff as a kid). Look forward to hearing from others. Dave Mrozinski djmrozinski@home.net |

Don,
I live 10 minutes down US 23 from Flint in the good Ole town of Fenton. I fly both electric and IC, but mostly IC. Still, I would like to see a little clique of Eflyers form in our area. Wiz |

I am in MI, and prefer electric, but my RC cars wont get off the ground -- events prevented me from buying an RC plane a year ago.. still aint fixed those events, this super duper layoff effect is not helping...

Looks like there are a few around here. I sure would like to have an electric fly-in but don't have a clue.
Any suggestions out there?? _________________ Don |
