Ok, the long range forecast is looking good (Red's got that handled) and we are on for our May 12th sanctioned AMA contest. Entry fee is $10 for SASS members $15 for non-members. Email or PM Red or me for the guest gate code. Pilot's meeting 9am. Our amazing Chef Brett will provide lunch for a small donation. Additional info on our website. http://seattleareasoaringsociety.com.

Lunch will be served!

Here's the latest from Chef Bret.

The grill will be out, and we'll have an assortment of burgers with all the accoutrements: Blaster beef burgers, Supra salmon burgers, and spicy veggie burgers that have received the wholehearted endorsement of noted DLGer Lawrence Doan. Chips, potato salad, and an assortment of drinks complete the menu. Suggested donation $5.

We'll be giving one or two of the "new" F3K tasks a go and on top of all that Steve Pool says sunny and 75!

Ken and I am planning to make the trip over. I am excited to get out and compete again and the forecast looks great.

Can you give us a heads up of the specific tasks that will be newly added to the contest so we can study up on them?

Thanks, Ben

Here's the scores. A couple of corrections, no changes in the top half.

Great flying James as always. Hope you like the "trophy"

FF lift master...sometimes
That is a great video! Makes me want to get involved in that even more than I did before, which was a lot. I'll have to watch the PASS guys at Molalla again in a couple of weeks. I'm a successful free flight HLG flier, and HLG is certainly my greatest interest in R/C--I've watched the PASS guys several times. Hopefully I can get something built this summer.

Thanks for taking the time to put that video together, and so quickly!. Very well done, and encouraging.
