Well the weather is looking to be decent tomorrow -, not great but hopefully better than yesterday

10 - 12 winds from the south will be a challenge, "ballast" might be the most used word on the field tomorrow.

Gary or anyone else, pm or email me today if you need the gate code or have any questions.

See everyone in the morning.

Dunno, looks really wetish to me I haven't heard from Russ yet.

Been working on Tom Siler's plane, waiting on a replacement tail. As practice for putting the gear in, I'm going to start building ships in a bottle. !!!!!

"Wetish" ain't so bad!

A mix of clouds and sun in the morning giving way to a few showers during the afternoon. High 62F. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

No rain at all. Turned out to be a great day with fun, variable conditions. I am always disappointed when the game is over and now we have a 2 month break. If anybody wants to carpool next weekend I am thinking about heading for the Competition In Lacy. Here are a few pics from today. Thanks to everyone who flew and or made this possible. Lee

Congrats Red on another fine win with some rather exceptional flying! Good turn out some great flying by all and lunch was the best. David Jensen's Validol looked awesome. I wonder if he will let me fly it?

Great contest and the weather was again very good. The talant of most of the pilots is amazing. How they do it still escapes me. Yes Dave you'll get your chance, but I need to be able to get into the top 10 with what I have before I build it.

Tons of fun. A big thanks to Red as always but also to Burton, our "super sorter" for all the help with the scores, sign in/money collection and set up/tear down.

And Bret once again you rock, lunch was great!

OIympia contest next weekend.

Be sure your calendars are marked for the Tom Evans Memorial, August 11 and 12 for two days of this fun!

Sorry I missed it. Slept in a little late, rain was pouring, but did have a great cooked breakfast. Did make it to today's Death match.
This year I will not be out of town for the two day. See ya in August.

wrong descision, wrong time
Eventhough I came in dead last, I still had a great time, and am already planning on attending my next contest (July 15th in Olympia). One thing I really like about flying DLG, is eventhough everyone is competing, they are more than happy to help each other out. I appreciate the help with getting my DLG setup, and the spot-on suggestions for the best way to fly it.

Also, many thanks to the guys running the contest. I appreciate the time and effort put forth to run these contests. They are very well run, and organized. I'm impresed that the CDs can not only run the contest, but also fly in the contest.

Hey Gary,

Would you confirm the July Oly date? The 15th is a Sunday.

And Heath,

Glad you made it out and had fun, that is our #1 goal. And I don't feel bad about your score. Just about everyone starts out that way. You flew great, finished all the rounds and didn't break your plane! A total success. With experience your scores will climb.

Thanks, RdJay
