Hey Stuart,

I've had good luck with some grey primer in a can. I usually just paint over epoxy and use it for vacu-forming plugs. Anyway, I'll have to look to see what it is.

Well here's another picture of the center section. The top skin in place, the joiner tubes/sockets have been cut and glued in place and most of the shear webs have been glued in place. Oh and the rest of the engine bulkheads are also in place.

A bit more on the center section

A couple more picture showing the motors mounted and the nose gear servo.

The wings panels are coming soon...

Working on the outer wing panels

I've started working on the outer wing panels. The right wing jig has been assembled and the ribs have been glued in place--via the alignment tabs. Oh the horizontal part of the sub-leading edge has also been glued in place.

The wing panel is drooping alot since I don't have any spars, shear webs or skins in place.

Cheers!

Gear retraction video

I also managed to get a gear retraction video up loaded last night.

Horten VII gear retracts (0 min 45 sec)

Isn't that cool!

There isn't a hurry. The plane can fly without that stuff!

Only if you agree to use electric motors. Just kidding.

I already have a waiting list for short kits. I'll gladly put you on the list if you'd like.
