I am absolutely serious about this. I am not a heli collector like Bob. The main reason I bought 12 helis last year was to start learning 3D. The 3 MCPx and 2 Genius I bought were mistakes. I couldn't do get anywhere with their stock brushed motors. I am a great fan of the V120D02S right now. Within the past 7 weeks, I have done over 3000 flips and rolls and had my first sustained inverted hover. If only this new Walkera had been available before, I would probably have saved a lot of money and time.

I'll have to remember those lines ....

(I have a feeling I'll be using them often this year)

The main motor looks strangely familiar...
1220 can motor? 4#3A/B?????
this heli doesn't look like it will be easy to mount an outrunner on. The diameter might get in the way. But, we still have the little inrunners....

Hello I am Arthur. I am a heli addict. I haven't shopped online for heli parts......oh well since 2 hours ago. I bought my last heli two weeks ago. I have been heli clean for two weeks. Lol

Looks like I might need the get a walkera again...glad I didn't buy a 2801 last year. Looks like a winner here. Still lots of work to do on my mcpxs. Yes a plural buyer...lol. I managed only to buy one msrx though it's an improvement.

It looks like a 4#3b main or roughly equivalent.

I suspect it is the motor used in the V100D08 but will need DK to confirm.

It begs the question; Are they using old stock 4#3 motors?
These are terrible and don't last at all long.
Could be the reason why they (Walkera) are only doing 2 min video clips, or maybe i'm paranoid.

I'm guessing it's an updated version. The 4#3b motor is a little loud as well.

I didn't start out to be a heli collector,, I'm just trying to find the perfect heli so have to keep buying the newest one, as they so far have always been better than the one before..

It's that I'll not unload the older ones on some poor sucker that makes me a collector..

The Genius and V120D02S are proof that they keep getting better..

For me yes,, I really like mine,, it's a great size for me in the backyard or flying field.. Handles very nice, has lots of power, it can go really fast if you want it to seems a nice honest flying heli.. For my general flying around,, and other have reported that it's good at 3D also..

Of course you need the slipper clutch mod on it right away.. A will spent 15 bucks,, saves replacing tail drive gears all the time..
